Join the JES Dahlia Society
There are many reasons to join...
- expand your knowledge of dahlias by working with seasoned growers and hybridizers
- hear from talented and skilled speakers at our monthly meetings
- participate at all levels of our society from committees to our display garden work days
- show your very own dahlias at sanctioned annual flower shows
- meet fascinating individuals who share a common interest
- get together with fellow dahlia growers through social events such as our potlucks, garden tours, our annual tuber sort and tuber sale, to name a few
John E. Stowell Dahlia Society dues for 2008 are: $30.00 Individual or $33.00 Family.
To become a member:
- Print and fill out the membership application.
- Make out a check for your annual dues payable to: John E. Stowell Dahlia Society,
- Mail your application and check to:

Dues cover full membership in the America Dahlia Society (ADS) in which you will receive:
- The quarterly Bulletin of ADS in which growers from all over North America share their successes and triumphs as well as their unsuccessful attempts at growing dahlias.
- A copy of the ADS Classification and Handbook of Dahlias, which lists those dahlia varieties that have won top awards over the last 5 years.
- All new members will receive ADS's Guide to Growing and Caring for Dahlias. This is an excellent guide for all levels of growers, from beginner to novice to amateur.
Your dues also cover full membership in the John E. Stowell Dahlia Society which includes:
- Our own monthly newsletter which lists all the happening things at a local level
- Eligibility to participate in our annual show and have an opportunity to swap tubers at our tuber sort before our annual tuber sale.
- Participation in our monthly meetings not to mention meeting and working side by side with many very knowledgeable dahlia growers and hybridizers.
If you already belong to the American Dahlia Society and would like to become a member of the John E. Stowell Dahlia Society, annual membership dues are $10.00.
